Artistic Megilas Ester, written in 11 lines, Sephardic scribal script (the Ari), ink on vellum.
"Megilas Ester per the custom of HaGra" written in 11 lines so that Haman’s ten sons (and the preceding line) will not be written in larger letters than the rest of the Megilah and will naturally occupy a complete single column.
13 sheets, 39 columns, 11 lines. Height: 26 cm. Ink on bright quality vellum written by an expert scribe with exceptionally large letters. On the top of the columns, artistic illustrations of crowns in black and gilt ink. Sephardic scribal script (the Ari).
Rolled on an Etz Chaim, the height of 51 cm. On top of the Etz Chaim, a silver Torah crown.
The Megilah has a matching, designed elastic strap.
An impressive, elegant work of art.
As good as new. Very good condition.
