Manuscript, prayer for the sick and Mi Sheberach prayers. Ohev Shalom Society, [England], mid-19th century. 

Manuscript with prayers for the Gaba’im for the health of the sick, ascent of the soul of the rabbis of the community who had passed away, for the success of volunteers and donors, blessing for the community, and for birthing mothers. [England], mid-19th century. 

[6] leaves, scribal script, containing:

* Prayer for the sick – its end is missing. Introduced at the beginning of the manuscript is a list of verses to be said before the prayer for the sick. This list is similar to the list of the thirty-six verses to be said, which appears in Tehillim books, with some variations. 

* El Maleh Rachamim for the ascent of the soul of great rabbis who had passed away. 

* Mi Sheberach for volunteers. 

* Mi Sheberach for the community.

* Mi Sheberach for donors.

* Mi Sheberach for the women who donated a Parochet and Torah mantle. 

* Mi Sheberach for the birthing mother and naming her daughter. 

Some of the headings of the prayers were written in large letters. Some of the versions of the prayers appearing in this manuscript are unique. There are several misspellings in the version of this manuscript. 

Renewed binding. Tears and taping to the edges. Stains. Good condition.
