Leaf handwritten by Maran the Ben Ish Chai, elucidation on the verses ‘כי גוי אובד עצות המה ואין בהם תבונה: לו חכמו ישכילו זאת יבינו לאחריתם’.

[1] leaf, written on both its sides by Maran Rabbi Yosef Chaim, the Ben Ish Chai. Handwritten by him. 10X13 cm. On the two pages, several words were erased by the writer who drew a line on them.
The ‘Ben Ish Chai’ Maran Rabbeinu Yosef Chaim of Baghdad (1835-1909), Ma’or HaGolah. Author of important and deep Seforim. One of the greatest Poskim and Kabbalists of his generation, who was also a leader, Darshan and Paytan. His Halachic rulings were accepted by the entire Diaspora.
Minor ink stain. Very good condition.
