235 leaves. On leaf 2, an owner’s signature in Sephardic script. Several short tapings. On verso of the title page, a foreword by the proofreader, who proofread the words of the Zohar appearing in the book from a manuscript of the Zohar before its printing.
Rabbi Menachem ben Rabbi Bintomin Recanati (1250-1310) a Posek, one of the first Kabbalists of Italy during the period of the Rishonim. Author of the famed Kabbalistic commentary on the Torah, known as the Recanati, and additional books.
New binding, moth holes, some of the leaves were completed from another copy, taping, stains, fair-good condition.
