A document signed by the holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boian Leipzig – Jerusalem, 1941.
The two-page document is a receipt for money received by Kollel Vohlin for the Admor Rabbi Yisroel of Leipzig, as a monthly stipend, signed and stamped by the bank and an accountant.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Boian Leipzig [1878-1951] [1788-1941] the son of the Pachad Yitzchak of Boyan and the grandson of the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Yaakov of Sadigura. His mother was the daughter of the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka. Although he was sick most of his life, his light shone on his surroundings. For several years he was the one who lit the fire at the gravesite of Rashbi. Was buried in Safed.
