Kedushas Levi by Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev. An edition that was published in its holy author’s lifetime and with his own approbation. Zholkva, 1806. Rare!

Sefer Kedushas Levi, second edition which was published in the author’s lifetime and by his request, after the first edition that was published in 1798 in Slavuta sold out. An incomplete copy, with some leaves completed with a quality photocopy. 

With an approbation by the holy Gaon author, who confirm and agrees to the printing of this edition of the Sefer. Rare. 

In addition, an approbation by the great Gaon the Yeshu’os Yaakov of Lvov. 

Appearing in this section are the ‘Kedushos’ on Hanukkah and Purim, Ma’amar Klalos Hanissim, elucidations on Aggados Savei Dvei Atunah and halachic and Aggadic innovations by the author’s father and sons. 

This edition has almost no variations compared to the first one, except for an addition by the holy Rav Rabbi Meir of Berditchev who passed away in the year this edition was published and a change made by the censor. 

Only after Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev’s passing, the extended edition was published containing Torah innovations on Parashos HaShavu’ah by the holy Rav Rabbi Levi Ytzchak of berditchev from a manuscript by him. 

The holy Rav the Ohev Yisroel of Opatow wrote in an approbation to another edition of the Sefer that owning the Sefer Kedushas Levi is a Segulah for protection

The holy Rav the Toldos Aharon of Zhitomir also wrote that it is well-known that the holy Sefer Kedushas Levi is capable of mitigation of a sentence. 

Incomplete copy. 

[2], 1-3, 6-44, 1-32 leaves. Leaf 4 is missing, completed with a photocopy are the title page and leaf of approbations as well as the five last leaves. 

Wear. Some leaves are crumbling in their edges. Water stains and aging stains. Slightly dismantled spine. Old, non-original binding. Good condition.
