Sefer Neveh Shalom, a book of sermons, articles and Midrashin on faith, science, Mussar and philosophy, by Rabbi Avraham Sholom ben Rabbi Yitzchak [the author, one of the sages of Catalonia, passed away during the Expulsion from Spain, 1492]. Zuan Di Gara Press, Venice, [1574]. Second edition. Rare.

[4], 128, 131-193, [1], 193-208, 211-213 [i.e. 215] leaves. Owner’s signatures on the title page, some of them erased. Erasure of some text of the author’s introduction by drawing a line.

This book contains Ma’amarim and Midrashim on the virtues of the Torah and the Korbanos and more.

At the beginning of the book, two poems by Rabbi meir ben Rabbi Asher of Venice (see: Otzar HaShira VeHaPiyyut, III, p. 172, 218).

Renewed leather binding with gilt lettering, moth holes, stains, taping to the edges of the title page and first leaf, fair-good condition.
