Letter for assisting a patient, handwritten and signed by Maran the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalma Auerbach. Jerusalem, 1978.
In the letter, the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman warmly blesses those who assist and support the patient, expressing his deep gratitude for the donation that was sent and describes the way the money should be spent, giving instructions to buy an air conditioner for the patient ‘to keep him from the cold’. It should be noted that the letter was written in the 1970s, when air conditioners were still rare, especially in Jerusalem.
