An announcement and important call, pertaining to Shchutei Chutz, hand-signed by the three Dayanim of the Chareidi community of Antwerp headed by the Rav of the community the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth.
In their letter, the rabbis write that after consulting and discussing the import of meat, they have decided that it is prohibited to import meat from outside the city due to problems of Kashrus.
The letter is signed by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Kreiswirth, the Rav of Antwerp, the great Gaon Rabbi Eliyahu Sternbuch, the son-in-law of the Makor Baruch of Seret Vizhnitz and Rosh Av Beis Din of the community, and by the great Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss, the Dayan of the community and eventually, Gaon Av Beis Din of the Chareidi community of Jerusalem.
