Special, lengthy letter in Yiddish with an addition of lines and blessings by the great Gaon Rabbi baruch Ber Leibowitz, the wuthor of Birkas Shmuel, and with his handwritten signature, to the supporters of the yeshiva in the USA, the Feigin family. 1930s.
The letter is mostly typewritten and in it, he blesses the supporters of the yeshiva and its philanthropists, the important Rav Rabbi Nissim Berabi Avraham Yitzchak Halevi Feigin and his generous wife the daughter of Rabbi Yisroel Miller-Feigin.
In the last lines, on the second leaf, he himself added his Yiddish blessing to the important philanthropist, לאנגע יאהרן אונד מיט כל ברכה והצלחה ותבורכו בברכת ברוך אשר יקים וגו’ המברכם ברוך דוב לייבאוויץ ר"מ בישיבה הק’ בית יצחק‘.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibowitz (1870-1939), one of Gedolei Hador. Was renowned for his holiness and piousness, alongside his great genius. A leading disciple of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk. In his youth, he established in Kremenchuk a yeshiva, which he headed. In 1904, he was appointed the Rosh Yeshiva of the "Knesses Beis Yitzchak" Yeshiva which was established by Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Rabinowitz the son of Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon Spektor and the Rav of Kovno. Authored the Seforim of Birkas Shmuel on the Shas, which are inalienable assets of the religious world.
