Sefer Tefilah LeMoshe, by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Sambor. The rare, Lemberg 1893 edition. A copy with the stamp of the holy Rav the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz, from his youth in Vulchovce. Dozens of handwritten glosses for an additional, revised edition.
Sefer Tefilah LeMoshe on the Torah authored by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Sambor, the brother of the holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Ziditchov and the father of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehuda Zvi of Rosla.
On the title page and the last leaf, the round stamp of ‘Chaim Meir Hager the son of the Tzaddik of Vizhnitz Shalita Av Beis Din of Vulchovce and the vicinity.
Inside the book, dozens of Gematrias, corrections of printing errors, corrections of Ma’amarim and even omission of entire passages.
The script is Rabbinic Chassidic, possibly of a Vizhnitz Chassid, yet most likely is not the script of Maran the Imrei Chaim.
On the foreword leaf, to the heading ‘Publisher’s foreword’, the words ‘for the second time’ were added; thus, it might be the same publisher, Rabbi Yosef Zvi Lax of Dolny, who was reprinting the book.
Please refer to Hebrew catalog text for a short biography of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Sambor.
[6] 50 leaves. No binding. Separate leaves, dark, dry and slightly fragile. Hundreds of glosses. Two stamps of the Imrei Chaim. Fair condition.
