Letter of blessings for abundant livelihood and success, handwritten by the Admor Rabbi Moshe of Stolin. Late 1920s.
The letter begins with words: ‘ואגדלה שמך והיה ברכה’ and then moves to discuss the situation of the yeshivas of Lithuania.
The second half of the letter contains warm blessings handwritten by him: השי"ת יעזור שתתברכו בפרנסה הרחבה הצלחה בכל אשר תפנו ובכל מעשי ידיכם ותתברכו בכל הברכות ממקור הברכות ובכל טוב כחפץ ידידכם הק’ משה בהה"צ הר"ר ישראל זצוק"ל.
The line after the signature contains several undecipherable words, possibly referring to money sent by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer of Vilna.
The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Karlin [also known as ‘The Frankfurter’ or the ‘Yanuka’]. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as of secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
