Early letter by the Tzaddik Rav Rabbi Yeshaya Asher Zelig Margolis, one of the leaders of Neturei Karta. Jerusalem, 1937.
In the letter, he thanks, blesses and praises Rabbi Zvi who sent him money by means of his relative the rabbinic philanthropist Rabbi Yosef Eisner.
The entire letter is handwritten and signed by him on his stationery.
The Holy Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Asher Zelig Margolis (1894-1969), one of the leaders of the zealots of Jerusalem. he studied at the Toras Emes – Lubavitch yeshiva in Hebron and became a close disciple of the Tzaddikim of Jerusalem: the Holy Gaon Rabbi Avraham Simcha Horowitz of Baranov, the kabbalist the Holy Gaon Rabbi Chaim Shaul Hacohen Dweik and the Saba Kaddisha Rabbi Shlomo Eliezer Alfandari . Rabbi Yeshaya Asher Zelig was one of the greatest fighters against reform Judaism and the Zionists.
