Collection of [2] broadsides of admonishment and awakening, issued by Chevras Mazhirei Shabbas and by HaMe’orerim. One of the broadsides is from Jerusalem, 1930s.
Broadside supporting the Shemiras Shabbas society of Jerusalem and a broadside of HaMe’orerim calling to strengthening in the observance of Kashruth, Sukkah and modesty:
* A broadside of the Chevras Mazhirei Shabbas of Jerusalem, calling to assist and join the protest against Chillul Shabbas in Jerusalem.
[1] printed leaf, Chorev Press, Jerusalem, 1930s. Folds, tears and wear. Fair condition.
* A call to pay heed to the building of a Kosher Sukkah that will hold up in winds and a call not to bless in the presence of girls who do not appropriately cover their hair and body. At the end of the broadside the reader is asked not to remove it and a curse is added to anyone who does so.
