Invitation announcing the arrival of Maran the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz to Tel Aviv for Sabbath to participate in the dedication of the new floor of the Beis Midrash of his brother, Maran the Damesek Eliezer. Tel Aviv, [1953].

An invitation to the Vizhnitz Chassidim to come to Tel Aviv for Sabbath with the holy Rav the Imrei Chaim of Vizhnitz who came to Tel Aviv for Sabbath for the dedication of a new floor that was built in the Beis Midrash of his late brother the holy Rav the Damesek Eliezer of Vizhintz on 13 Fireberg St. The Rav stayed at the house of Rabbi Asher Bartler, an important Vizhnitz Chassid.

The invitation contains a correction of an error in the address of the Admor’s dwelling. Initially, Florentin St. was written and was then corrected, in print, to Levontin St.

The invitation tells some of the story of the Vizhnitz holy court, which was almost completely destroyed during the World War in Romania, Bucovina, Ukraine, Galicia and elsewhere. From the ashes, the holy Rav the Damesek Eliezer established a yeshiva and started gathering the dry bones yet passed away suddenly after a eighteen months only. Only after the arrival of his brother the holy Rav the Imrei Chaim and the establishment of the Shikun Vizhnitz could the holy court start dreaming again of its revival.

Official invitation. 17X12 cm. With postage stamps. Very good condition.
