The Rishon LeZion Rabbi Chaim David Chazan (1790-1869), Gedol Hador of his generation, the son of the Rishon LeZion Rabbi Yosef Raphael Chazan author of the Chikrei Lev (one of the most well-known Shut Seforim among Sephardic Poskim and in general).
