Rabbi Yitzchak Moshe Perles (1784-1854), author of the ‘Bayis Ne’eman’ Shut, a disciple of Rabbi Meshulam Igra Av Beis Din of Pressburg and the disciple of the brothers who both served as the Av Beis Din of Poznan – Rabbi Yosef and Rabbi Shmuel Falkenfeld. For a short while, he studied with the Chasam Sofer who refers to him in his responsa. Rabbi Yitzchak served as a Rav in the communities of Kojetin, Holitch, Eisenstadt and Bonyhad, where he fought against the Enlightenment movement. The Kesav Soffer eulogized him and said of him "מרא דש"ס ופוסקים, עמקן גדול עמוק עמוק, צדיק יסוד עולם, גודר גדר ועומד בפרץ. משה זכה וזיכה את הרבים העמיד תלמידים הרבה".
Rabbi Yisroel Weiss – the son of a pedigreed Haredi family, the disciple of the rabbis of Siget, of a wide general education and a successful businessman who contributed much to Torah and charity institutions. He founded and managed in his house the large and best library in Siget which had thousands of Hebrew and Yiddish Seforim as well as rare manuscripts. The library was open to the public and it served as a Beis Midrash and Synagogue. Rabbi Yisroel Weiss and his wife perished in the Holocaust. Some of the Seforim of his library reached private collectors and public libraries.
