5, 23 leaves. The publisher added to Rabbi Meir Gabai’s book, Derech Emunah, the Esser Sefiros commentary [also known in manuscripts as Sha’ar Hasho’el] by Rabbi Azriel since the book Derech Emunah is based on Rabbi Azriel’s Kabbalah.
The Kabbalist Rav Rabbi Meir ben Rabbi Yechezkel ibn Gabai (1480-1540) one of the important Kabbalists who were exiled from Spain and the author of important Kabbalistic books: Tola’as Yaakov on the prayers, Avodas Hakodesh – a basic, comprehensive book on Kabbalah, and Derech Emunah on the structure of the ten Sefiros.
The Kabbalist Rav Rabbi Azriel ben Rabbi Shlomo – one of the leading Kabbalists of Catalonia in ca. 1190. Studied kabbalah with Rabbi Yitzchak Sagi Nahor, the Ravad’s son, and left several manuscripts on Toras HaEmes. Some believe he was the Ramban’s Rav.
Semi-leather binding. blemished and without the front board. Some moth holes, stains. Fair-good condition.
