[1], 156 leaves. Several owner’s signatures including a stamp of Sholom Menachem Chodorov and signatures of Rabbi Yechiel Michl Sacks and Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Yoffe. Some of the signatures are erased. Some handwritten corrections of printing errors.
Rabbi Dr. Yechiel Michl Sacks (1808-1864) – in 1836 was appointed Rav in Prague and in 1864 was appointed Rav in Berlin. Was known as a talented darshan whose sermons were published. was rge son-in-law of Rabbi Nosson Marcus Adler, the Chief Rabbi of the United Kingdom.
Rabbi Moshe Yaakov Yoffe (1828-1915) was born in Berlin and served as a Dayan in Hamburg.
Simple, renewed binding. Stains. Folds to the corners of the leaves. Blemishes to the margins of some leaves not affecting the text. fair-good condition.
