Sefer Birkas Avos, Pshatim and Remazim on tractate Avos (with the text), by Rabbi Yosef Chaim ben Rabbi Eliyahu [of baghdad]. The press of Eliyahu ben Amozag and co. Livorno, [1865]. The Ben Ish Chai had printed this book in his youth, a year after the printing of his first book Aderes Eliyahu.

The ‘Ben Ish Chai’ Maran Rabbeinu Yosef Chaim of Baghdad (1835-1909), Ma’or HaGolah. Author of important and deep Seforim. One of the greatest Poskim and Kabbalists of his generation, who was also a leader, Darshan and Paytan. His Halachic rulings were accepted by the entire Diaspora.
