Letter with a bitter cry by the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Zelig Roch, the Rosh Yeshiva of Lomzha, to Maran the great Gaon Rabbi Chaim Ozer Grodzinsky of Vilna, for his yeshiva. 1935.
The letter also refers to his brother-in-law the great Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Mordechai Gordon, the Rosh Yeshiva and future Rosh Yeshiva of the Lomzha yeshiva of Petach Tikvah and a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei Hatorah.
Rabbi Yehoshua Zelig Roch, the Iluy of Rakishok [1880-1942] the Rosh Yeshiva of Lomzha alongside his brother-in-law Rabbi Yechiel Mordechai Gordon. One of the greatest disciples of the Saba of Slabodka who introduced Mussar studies to the yeshivas of Lithuania, Telz and Mir. Perished in the Holocaust.
