Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Eliyahu Nissim (1781-1864) a disciple of the author of Misgeres Hashulchan and Shut Emek Melech, Rabbi Menachem Azarya Castilnovo. Was the Rav of several Italian communities and a student of the Mantova yeshiva. Author of Aderes Eliyahu (Livorno, 1855). Was known for his struggle against canceling Yom Tov Sheni shel Galuyos.
Stains. Fold mark. Tears and a blemish to the edge of the leaf not affecting the text. Fair-good condition.
