"כי כשל כח הסבל"; a handwritten letter in Yiddish, signed by two of the Dayanim and Morei Tzeddek of Lvov. Lemberg, 19.12.1871.
[1] leaf, [30] handwritten lines, with signatures of Sheraga Feibel Karp Domatz of Lvov and Chaim Yosef Elinberg Domatz of Lvov.
Rabbi Sheraga Feibel Karp – a leading Ziditchov Chassid, Dayan and Moreh Tzeddek of the Beis Din of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shail Nathansohn, the author of the Sho’el UMeshiv.
Rabbi Chaim Yosef Elinberg [Alenberg] (1834-1878) a disciple of his grandfather Rabbi Simcha Nosson Elinberg and a member of the Beis Din of the Sho’el UMeshiv.
Wear along the fold lines. Stains. Small tears to the edges of the leaf. Some minor holes. Fair-good condition.
