Lengthy letter by Rabbi Elazar Shapiro of Homna, Romania, to his close friend Rabbi Shmuel Binyomin Sonnenfeld, the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld. 1907.
In the letter, Rabbi Shapiro describes at length his visit to Budapest and his attempt to meet with Rabbi Avraham [Adolf] Frankel to discuss some public matters with him.
The Gaon Rabbi Elazar Shapiro, the son of the Tzaddik gaon Rabbi Avish Aryeh Shapiro Av Beis Din of Homna.
The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Binyomin Sonnenfeld [passed away in 1917, in his great father’s lifetime], the son of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld the Rav of Jerusalem.
