Collection of responses handwritten by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin of Kortshin.

Three lengthy responses handwritten by him. Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin does not sign his name, yet he copied each response and the date and place of its writing.

Some lengthy glosses on the margins, also handwritten by him.

The holy Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Aharon Rabin [1824-1877] was born to his father Rabbi Zvi Elazar, a Dayan in Krakow. Was a disciple of the Divrei Chaim of Sanz, who said of him that he was perfect in Torah and Yirah. Was chosen to edit the Shut Divrei Chaim authored by his Rav Maran of Sanz. Corresponded with Gedolei Hador and the Geonim of Galicia, the Sho’el UMeshiv and Rabbi Shlomo Kluger. Served as Rav of Kortshin and Zabrov.
