Postcard and letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Marilus and a letter signed by him. Bakı and Bucharest:
* Postcard, 9X14 cm. Recommendation on the Shoches and Bodek Shmuel Friedman and his son who was about to become engaged. Bakı, (1960). Handwritten and signed by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Marilus and with his stamp.
Fold mark, stains, some ink smearing, good condition.
* Letter, 20X29 cm. Handwritten and signed by him. The letter, which was addressed to a Rav in Fălticeni, deals with writing names on a Gett. Rabbi Marilus writes that he can come to the addressee to write the Gett and invites him to come to him to study books that discuss these Dinim.
Fold marks and tears along the fold lines. Stains. Fair-good condition.
* Typewritten letter, 20X29 cm. to "the scribe … the son of holies … Maran Chaim shel Beracha", with the handwritten signature of the Chief Rabbi of Bucharest "Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Marilus". The letter contains Divrei Torah "in honor of the late pious Rebbetzin". Rabbi Marilus states that he will stydy Torah for the ascent of the Rebbetzin’s soul yet he cannot say that in Jassy Torah will be studied for the ascent of her soul since the last Jew in Jassy who knew how to study Mishnayos moved to Bucharest, as "an old man and the brother of the Risishen Rabbi R. Zanvil of Jerusalem is immigrating next week to Israel. This letter actually indicates that the holy Rav of Ribnitz had a brother who immigrated from Jassy, Romania, to Israel!
Fold lines and tiny tears along them. Good condition.
