Se’ah Soles, Marpeh Lanefesh and Orach Chaim by Rabbi Raphael ben Rabbi Gabriel Norzi. Second edition with additions. [Yehuda] Leib Sussmanesh Press, Amsterdam, [1757]. With a stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Shmuel ben rabbi Yisroel Yonah Landau.

[5], 10, 14; 4, 31, [1]; [2], 5-6, 34 leaves. Several leaves are bound out of order. A special title page for each book. With approbations by the rabbis of Amsterdam. Ownership notations, signatures and stamps, including  "האלוף והקצין כ"ב ה’ חיים בר"א מזאלשין", "התו’ והרבני המופ’ ומופלג כ"ש מוה"ר נחמי’ יצ"ו" and more. A stamp of  Hochschule für die Wissenschaft des Judentums942 (the Institute for Jewish Studies which had operated in Berlin from 1872 to 1942, when it was closed down by the Nazis) and a stamp of Rabbi Yosef Shmuel ben Rabbi Yisroel Yonah Landau. 

Rabbi Yosef Shmuel ben Rabbi Yisroel Yonah Landau (1800-1837) a famed Rav and Gaon. In 1824, when he was only 24 years old, was chosen to succeed his father as the Rav of Kempen with the support of Rabbi Akiva Eiger. Corresponded on halachic and public matters with Rabbi Akiva Eiger and his son-in-law the Chasam Sofer, who also approbated Rabbi landau’s book Mishkan Shiloh.
