The Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Zacuto, the Remez, one of the greatest contemporary Kabbalists of Italy, a disciple of Rabbi Chaim Vital and the Shela and distributor of Kabbalah in Italy. The Rav of Venice and eventually, Rosh Yeshiva and Rav of Mantova. The Rav the Chida wrote that he was his "Maggid from Heaven". Passed away in 1698, the year of birth of the Besht.
