Sefer Toldos Aharon, references to biblical verses, one of the first and most important of references books, which is today printed in every Chumash alongside the Onkelos translation and Rashi’s commentary. Authored by Rabbi Aharon on Pissarro. Yisroel Zafroni Hamechokek Press, Freiburg [southern Germany], [1583].
[39] leaves, of them [36] printed leaves and [3] were completed in fine script. The first edition that was published as a book of itself. Ownership notations on the flyleaf from the years 1933-1934. Ownership stamps on the title page "Chevra Kaddisha Deshas Paris".
Renewed leather binding with gilt lettering, wear to the edges of the leather binding, aging stains, mostly restored moth holes, [2] last leaves are missing and completed with [3] handwritten leaves, good condition.
