Two volumes of books by the Chofetz Chaim, with the notation ‘מוגה’ (Proofread) handwritten by him. Copy of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Asher Ze’ev Warner, the Rav of Tiberius.

On the flyleaf, a notation of ‘מוגה’ (Proofread), as was the Chofetz Chaim’s custom to write on books that he sold, fearing theft and fraud.
On the flyleaf and title page, stamps of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Asher Ze’ev Warner [1884-1958] Av Beis Din of the Chassidim of Tiberius and the Rosh Yeshiva of Torah Or of the city. The son-in-law of the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Aharon Yosef Luria, a leading Slonim Chassid. Rabbi Asher was a member of Mo’etzes Gedolei Hatorah and the Rav of the Pai movement.
Dry, fragile leaves. The binding is almost completely detached. The flyleaf and additional leaves are detached. Fair-good condition.
