Original passport of the holy Rav Rabbi Shimon Nosson Nota of Lelov the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Mordechai of Lelov, with his passport photo and handwritten signature. 


Belgium passport – Vreemdeling (stranger), with the birth details of the holy Rav in 1930 and additional details. 

The certificate was issued in February 1965 when the Admor traveled to Belgium to serve as a Maggid in a yeshiva in Antwerp.  


The holy Rav Rabbi Shimon Nosson Nota of Lelov [1931-2009], the son of the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe Mordechai of Lelov. His Beis Midrash in Shikun Heh attracted many Chassidim seeking salvation. At first he served as Admor of some of the Karlin Chassidim; yet later refused the position and they established the Pinsk-Karlin community. A sublime Tzaddik, Oved Hashem, who loved Yisroel with all his heart and worked wonders for them. Authored Sefer Har Bashan on Hilchos Terumos by the Rambam. Passed away on the night of Yom Kippur 2009 after blessing the public all day and being the prayer leader of the Kol Nidrei prayer.
