Letter of condolence with many blessings at its end handwritten by the holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin, the son of the holy Rav the Yanuka ‘Der Frankfurter’ Rabbi Yisroel of Stolin-Karlin.
Untypically, the Rabbi writes lengthy words of condolence: "What can I say, there are no words that can express my aggravation and sorrow when I found out about his brother … who was cut down in his prime… yet Hashem is a tzaddik in all His ways and a Chassid in all his deeds and may He who consoles Zion and Jerusalem console you and may you never hear again the voice of woe but only the voice of joy and happiness…"
The Rabbi then adds many blessings: השי"ת יפרנסם בכבוד וברוח ותתברכו כולם בכתיבה וחתימה טובה בספרן של צדירים גמורים לאלתר לחיים טובים ומרובים ובכל הברכות ממקור הברכות ובכל טוב כחפץ ידידם הק… משה בהר"ר מסטאלין…
The holy Rav Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned holy Rav Rabbi Yisroel of Karlin [also known as ‘Der Frankfurter’ or the ‘Yanuka’]. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as of secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
