Minchat Pitim also known as Divrei Menachem, printed in Shuran in 1891. The copy of the Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Shalom Sofer of Pest, son of the Machaneh Chaim. 

On the title page, owner’s signature  ‘Chaim Sofer’. Beneath it is witten: ‘החיבור במתנה שלח מנות להבחור בן אחי נ"י החרוץ כמר יעקב שלו’ סופר’. 

The holy Gaon Rabbi Yaakov Sholom Sofer [1855-1921] one of the leading rabbis of Hungary. The son of the Machaneh Chaim’s brother. Studied Torah with the Maharm Schick and the Ketav Sofer. Served for almost thirty years as Rosh Av Beis Din of Pest. Author of Torat Chaim on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim. 

[5] leaves, 7-32 pp. [3] leaves, 98 pp. [1] leaf. Stains, mainly on the title page. Slightly brittle leaves. Moth perforations. Original binding, slightly dismantled. Good condition.
