44 leaves. On the title page, an owner’s signature and stamp ‘Yehuda Leib Hirschenson’. The printer’s name appears on the colophon. On verso of the last leaf, an owner’s notation referring to the religious Katzin Michl Itingen and the Katzin Leib Shaier the son of Rabbi Aharon Shaier of Frankfurt am Main. Some of this notation is stains and partly faded. 

The religious Katzin Michl ben Rabbi Zalman Itingen – is mentioned in Sefer Hazkaras Neshamos of the Worms community (1886), page 52: "דקדמי ומחשכי בבי כנישתא ועשה תפלתו בכוונה, והיה עוסק בצורכי ציבור באמונה, והיה חבר בחברה קדישא דתלמוד-תורה". Passed away in 1783. 

The Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Leib ben Rabbi Aharon Shaier (1733-1821) since 1780 was Av Beis Din of Düsseldorf. Authored compositions on the Shas and the Shulchan Aruch. Was revered by the Geonim of his generation who corresponded with him including Rabbi Avraham Broda, the Chida and more. He is referred to in Shut Nodah BiYehuda. A eulogy for him appears in the Kuntres Shalosh Yevavot (Worms, 1886). 

Semi-leather binding. Stains. Moth holes. Taping to the edges of some leaves. Lack to the lower part of the title page and a blemish to its upper part. Good condition.
