The first edition of two basic books, Offenbach, 1801. 

Sefer HaMiknah, second section of Sefer Hafla’ah by the holy Rav Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Horowitz Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Main. First edition in the author’s lifetime.

Sefer Machaneh Levi, by his son the holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Halevi Horowitz who succeeded his father as the Rav of Frankfurt. The book contains innovations on the Shas. First edition, Offenbach, 1801. 

Sefer Hamiknah is one of the most important halachic books, authored by the disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch and the brother of the holy Rav Rabbi Shmelkeh of Nikolsburg. 

The holy Gaon Rabbi Pinchas Halevi Ish Horowitz (1731-1805), "Ba’al Hafla’ah", Av Beis Din and Rosh Yeshiva in Frankfurt am Main, which was then the largest Torah center in Germany and where he served as Rav for dozens of years. Was a disciple of the Maggid of Mezeritch, the brother of Rabbi Shmuel Shmelkeh Horowitz of Nikolsburg and the Rav of the Chasam Sofer. Author of Sefer Hafla’ah (which includes the Sefer Ketubah on Tractate Ketubos and Sefer Hamikneh on Tractate Kiddushin), Sefer Panim Yafos on the Torah and Shut Givas Pinchas.

The holy Rav the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Halevi Horowitz [passed away in 1817] Rav and Av Beis Din of Frankfurt am Main who supported and eventually succeeded his father.
