Sefer Masset Binyomin, Shut by the Gaon Rabbi Binyomin Aharon [Solnik], Sudilkov, [1833]. With the handwritten completion of two responses that were omitted due to the censor. 

92 leaves. Mispagination. Responses 29 and 86 were omitted by the censor and were completed on the flyleaves in [139] handwritten lines. Owner’s signature the Gaon of Ozorkov "Shlomo Avraham Rezechte" on the title page and on leaf 13 and [36]. Dedication on verso of the back flyleaf in honor of "the Rabbinic Naggid Chassid Raphael Yitzchak Landau". Notation in a foreign language on the inside binding. 

Rabbi Binyomin Aharon ben Rabbi Avraham Solnik (ca. 1535-1619) a disciple of the Rema, the Maharshal, Rabbi Shlomo of Lublin and the Maharam of Lublin. Taught Torah in Krakow and then moved to Silesia, where he served as a state Rav. Returned to Poland and served as Rav and Av Beis Din of Podhajce and Rav and chairman of the Council of Four Lands. Author of Shut Masset Binyamin and additional books.

Worn, semi-leather binding with moth holes. Dismantled back board. Stains. Fair-good condition.
