Shut Rishmei She’elah, with Kuntres Mo’ed Katan and Kuntres Drushei Mussar, by Rabbi Moshe Yisroel Av Beis Din of Kornik, the son of Rabbi Aryeh Leib Av Beis Din of Lisa. The press of Zvi Hirsch ben Rabbi Nosson, Warsaw, [1811]. First edition. With the signature of Rabbi Getshlik Schlesinger.

[3], 106, 18 leaves. With approbations including an approbation by Rabbi Akiva Eiger. On the title page, the handwritten signature of Rabbi Getshlik Schlesinger.

The Kabbalist Rav Rabbi Elyokim Getshlik ben Rabbi David Schlesinger (1813-1900) a leading disciple of Rabbi Yaakov Etlinger the author of Aruch Laner in his yeshiva in Manheim. Since 1836 served as Rosh Yeshiva in Altona and in 1845 was appointed Rav of the old Kloiz of Hamburg, where he delivered lessons for approx. fifty years. Served also as Dayan in Hamburg. Two of his grandsons were Rabbi Yechiel Michl Schlesinger – the founder and Rosh Yeshiva of Kol Torah and his brother, Rabbi Folk Schlesinger – the manager of the Sha’areu Tzedek hospital of Jerusalem.
