On the inside of the binding and on the flyleaves, handwritten notations of Segulot, in Yiddish and Hebrew, including: "To walk an animal after a human being without hitting it" (printed in Mareh Hayeladim by Rabbi Raphael Ochana), Segulot for difficuly labor (introduced in Toldot Adam by Rabbi Eliyahu Ba’al Shem Tov and in Mareh Hayeladim), Segulah for fever (a similar one was introduced in Shushan Yesod Olam by Rabbi Yosef Tarshom), Segulah for someone suffering from insomnia (intriduced in Toldot Adam), Segulah for waking someone up at night (introduced in Over Orach by Rabbi Yaakov Naftali of Lublon and in Toldot Adam), Segulah for not becoming tired while on the road (introduced in Toldot Adam) and more.
