Preceding the title page there is a printed leaf with red lettering, with the author’s dedication. By hand, the author added the details of the receiver of the book: "מורנו ורבינו מלך ירושלים הגאון המפו’ הרב יש"א ברכה יחי שמו לעולם… אנס"ו" (our teacher and Rav the famed Gaon Rav the Yissah Beracha…). On the lower part of the leaf, the author added by hand Remazim for Sod Kibbutz Galuyot by merit of the Mishnah and Tvilah and Sod Taharat Hamet.
Rabbi Chaim ben Rabbi Shlomo Hacohen (passed away in 1905) was born in Djerba, Tunisia where he studied with Rabbi Shaul Hacohen and Rabbi Avraham Hacohen. He moved to Tripoli where he served as Dayan and Av Beis Din. Published in his lifetime nineteen books on Halacha, Passover Haggadah, Hoshanot and more.
New binding with gilt lettering. Some minor stains. Very good condition.
