Five Kabbalistic leaves, Kavanot HaAri, a letter handwritten by the holy Gaon the author of Mevasser Tzeddek and Bat Eini Rabbi Yissachar ber Av Beis Din of Zlotchov and Safed, a leading disciple of Marn the holy Rav Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Zlotchov.
The large manuscript contains the Kavanot HaAri from the book Pri Etz Chaim by Rabbi Chaim Vital. Handwritten entirely by the Mevasser Tzeddek and with Kabbalistic glosses also handwritten by him.
Kavanot for Sha’ar Hoshana Rabba. On the upper part of the leaves, fine Assyrian script. The content is in Ashkenazic script. Some lines with Shemos Hakodesh in Assyrian script.
Each leaf contains approx. sixty lines, written on both sides. The lower lines are blemished and partly incomplete. Restored with paper.
The holy Rav Rabbi Yissachar Dov Ber of Zlotchov [passed away in 1795], a friend and relative of the holy Gaon Rabbi Levi Yitzchak of Berditchev. Av Beis Din of Zlotchov. His disciples included the holy Rav, author of Be’er mayim Chaim, who described the Ruach HaKodesh he saw in his Rav. Rabbi Yissachar Ber immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, living in Tiberius. He passed away in Av of that year and was buried in Safed near the grave of the Holy Alsheich. Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac of Komarno said of him that he never even slightly blemished Tzelem Elokim.
[5] leaves, written on both sides. Greatly blemished in their lower part. Non-professionaly restored with paper. Stains. Slightly dry leaves. Overall condiiton: good with considerable blemishes to the lower part.
