Lengthy letter for the donors of the Center for Taharat Hamishpacha with warm blessings handwritten by the holy brothers, the holy Rav Rabbi David and his brother the holy Rav Rabbi Avraham Dov of Rachmastrivka and with their handwritten signature. Jerusalem, 1944.

The letter was sent to the Tzaddik Gaon Rabbi Ephraim Zalman Halperin when he founded the National Center for Taharat Hamishpacha, the holy Tzaddikim blessing his enterprise and greatly praising it and its importance.

הננו בזה להביע רחשי תודתנו והכרת תודה על אשר לקחו להם לעסוק בענין גדול כזה אשר כל קדושת ישראל נשען עליו.

The letter contains their special blessings:

‘בטוחים אנו עי כל חרד וירא לדבר ה’ יחיל ידיו למפעל הגדול הזה לתמכו ולסעדו איש איש ככל אשר לאל ידו מי בתמיכה ומי בהשתדלות וגדול יהא שכר המצוה הרבה הזאת בזה ובבא הננו המעתירים בעד כלל ישראל לישועה וגאולה שלמה בקרוב וכתיבה וחתימה טובה לטובה ולברכה.

The pair of holy brothers signed the letter that was written by the holy Rav Rabbi David on the official stationery of both brothers: "אברהם דוב ודוד בהה"ק מוהר"ר מנחם נחום זצוקללה"ה מראחמיסטראווקא ירושלים עיה"ק ת"ו". The term of their joint presidency lasted only 9 years.

The holy brothers Rabbi Avraham Dov and Rabbi David, the sons of the holy Rav Rabbi Menachem Nachum of Rachmastrivka led the holy court in Jerusalem after the passing of their father in 1936. Rabbi Avraham was born in 1865 and passed away in 1945; Rabbi David was born in 1872 and passed away in 1951. Rabbi David’s son, the holy Rav Rabbi Yochanan, succeded as the Admor.

[1] joint official stationery. Handwritten by Rabbi David and with the signatures of both holy brothers. Minor fold lines. Minor stains. Filing perforations with holes on two letters on the edges of the stationery. Very good condition.
