Kuntresim with innovations on some tractates – 18th century – Ashkenazic script
Kuntresim with dozens of leaves containing innovations on tractates Megillah, Beitza, Bava Kama, Bava Metzi’ah and more.
Written on one of the leaves: "ונראה לאמ"ו הגאון המפורסים מוה’ זרח זצללה"ה". Possibly, this refers to the famed Gaon Rabbi Zerach Eidlitz who served as Rosh Yeshiva in Prague and passed away in 1780.
On one of the pages on tractate Megillah, it was written: "ואחר שהקשיתי קושי’ זו שמעתי אומרים שהפני יהושיע הקשה קושי’ זו, ולא עיינתי שמה בספר פני יהושיע כי לא הי’ עמדי"
[34] leaves (most of them written on both sides). Size varies. Good general condition.
