Mishnayot Kodashim, Prague 1809 – an entire composition on Seder Kodashim that was written on the margins of the sheets of the Mishnayot by a leading Rav – Ashkenazic script.
On this volume of Mishnayot are hundreds of lengthy glosses in dense script, scholarly and sharp glosses, leaf after leaf, from the beginning of the volume to its end. The content of the glosses indicates that they were written by a great Gaon, sharp and knowledgeable. Most of the glosses refer to the words of the Tosfot Yom Tov. In hundreds of these glosses, he makes an effort to elucidate the opinion of "Rabbeinu Hagadol the Rambam".
Many of the glosses refer to his many innovations and glosses that were written on the margins of other books. (10/b, and many additional places); "וע’ בהגהות בש"ע שלי מ"ש בזה" (57/b); "ובגליון פירש המשנה כתבתי ישוב לדבריו".
The glosses were written in the late 18th century and early 19th century, as indicated by a gloss on leaf 56/b referring to the Mishnayot with glosses by the Gaon Rabbi Akiva Eiger: "… The Mishnayor with Rabbi Akiva Eiger’s glosses were published for the first time in Altona in 1851-1853.
