Manuscript, Kuntres with Halachic and Aggadic innovations on tractate Berachot Bavli and Yerushalmi – pearls of wisdom the writer heard from the Malbim and additional leading rabbis – Konigsberg, 1870s.
On leaf 9b, the writer wrote: "I have heard from the Gaon the Malbim Rav in our city of Konigsberg". The Malbim served as Rav in Konigsberg during the 1870s (another Shmu’ah from the Malbim appears on leaf 11b: "I have heard from the Gaon the Malbim who said with humor"). On leaf 2b, the anonymous writer wrote: I have heard from the Gaon Rav Rabbi Eliyahu, Rav of Zager. He is referring to the famed darshan Rabbi Eliyahu Achick Av Beit Din of Zager Chadash, the author of Sefer Iyen Eliyahu on Ein Yaakov. Passed away in 1876. On leaf 10b, he writes: In the manuscripts by the Gaon Rabbi Abali of Vilna.
