Mishnayot Nezikin, Warsaw 1862 – dozens of glosses handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Shaul Katznelboigen Av Beis Din of Schilel, author of Shut Magen Shaul.
On the title page, a signature: "Shaul Katznelboigen – Schilel".
The Gaon Rabbi Shaul ben Rabbi Avraham Yaakov Katznelboigen Av Beis Din of Schilel, Zamot (1841-1919) an important Rav and leading More Hora’ah in Western Lithuania. Was a disciple of the author of Amudei Or. In 1890, was appointed the Rav of Schilel. Author of Shut Magen Shaul (Jerusalem Institute, 1989) that contains correspondence with Gedolei Hador such as the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Elchonon Spektor, the author of the Aroch Hashulchan and more.
His glosses were compared to a manuscript by him scanned on the website of the National Library.
