40 leaves. At the beginning of the book, a printed dedication leaf, with [12] lines of additions handwritten and signed by the author. On the title page, the receiver, Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Yaakov Srevini, wrote: "A token of love by the author" and added his handwritten signature and stamp. His stamps also appear inside the book.
Rabbi Moshe Nechemya Kahanov (1817-1887) the Rav of Petrovich and Rav and Rosh Yeshiva of Chaslovich. Immigrated to Eretz Yisroel in 1864 and served as the Rosh Yeshiva of Etz Chaim of Jerusalem and Rosh Av Beis Din of the Beis Din of Rabbi Shmuel Salant. Authored many books including netivot Sholom.
