The book contains sharp expressions against the Psakim of Gedol Hador Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. Rabbi Ovadya Yosef, in Shut Yabi’ah Omer (VI, Orach Chaim, Siman 48) writes that the Rav the Ma’aneh LaIgrot had objections to the Igrot Moshe, "yet should have spoken with respect to the above Gaon. Throughout his entire book his retorts with harsh words, a thing that should not be done". Following the readers’ response to its style, the distribution of the book was stopped after a short while and approx. half of the copies were archived.
