Rabbi Yekusiel Kamelhar (1871-1937) – Rav, Talmid Chacham, a polymath, educator, speaker and talented writer. Was born to Rabbi Gershon Kamelhar who grew up in the house of the holy Rav Rabbi Zvi Hirsch of Riminov. By the order of the holy Rav Rabbi Yehoshua of Djikov, he founded a yeshiva in Reisha and taught there. During the years 1897-1914, was the Rosh Yeshiva of Or Torah in Staniskov. Was one of the editors of Kol Machzikei Hadat and published many articles in the journal and elsewhere. In World War I, moved to Vienna and in 1927, to the USA, where he served as Rav of the synagogue of the Reisha and Artshin community. In 1933 immigrated to Eretz Yisroel, where he passed away and was laid to rest on the Mount of Olives. A book about him, Hatzofeh Ledoro, by Rabbi Yehoshua Mondshine was published in Jerusalem, 1987.
Simple, slightly worn binding. Some stains. Good condition.
