Rabbi Pinchas Zelig ben Rabbi Naftali Hacohen Schwartz (1877-1944) – Ram, famed writer and editor of the religious journal Or Torah. Perished with his wife and the members of his community in Auschwitz.
Rabbi Dr. Marton Dov ben Rabbi Menachem Mendel Bernard (1909-1990) a student of the Chust and Pressburg yeshivas. In addition, studied at the Prague and Bratislava (Pressburg) universities. He worked as an economist at the bank of Czechoslovakia and wrote for Jewish journals. In 1933, immigrated to the USA and became a charismatic activist who worked for distributing Torah and helping She’erit Hapletah.
Simple binding, slightly worn. Minor blemishes to some corners. Good condition.
