"אני מתכבד להודיעכם שנולדה לי בת …" Letter handwritten by the Admor the Chochmas Eliezer of Seret-Vizhnitz, Haifa- 1953.
In the letter (which is written on a postcard), the Rabbi informs his friend Rabbi Yisroel Bar Zakai about the birth of his eldest daughter (the Rebbetzin Kornreich, the wife of the Tzaddik gaon Rabbi Naftali Reuven Gaon Av Beis Din of Tel Zion). The entire postcard was handwritten and signed "Eliezer" by him.
The Holy Rav the Chochmas Eliezer of Seret Vizhnitz (1925-2015) a member of Moetzes Gedolei HaTorah and one of the greatest Admorim of the recent generation. Was born in Grosswardein to his father the Holy Rabbi author of the Mekor Baruch. In 1947, immigrated to Israel and settled in Haifa. In 1951, he married Mrs. Chaya Tzirl the daughter of Rabbi Sholem Ozer Breun. He lovingly led his community and was renowned for his benevolence. Authored the Sefer ‘Chochmas Eliezer’.
